2021 ICAEW Diversity Report

Arram Berlyn Gardner are committed to equal opportunities and we employ personnel based upon an evaluation of their abilities and effectiveness. We do not discriminate against personnel on the basis of any other characteristic or classification. We are committed to promoting the principles of equality and diversity within our policies, practices and dealing with clients and employees.

It is a regulatory requirement for all probate firms to undertake diversity survey every two years and publish a summary of the results. 

In our most recent ICAEW Diversity Report which was completed by 80% of our team, 63% of those responding were male and 36% female.

The data can be broken down into the following age profiles:

Age 16 – 24 – 14%, Age 25 – 34 – 27%, Age 35 – 44 – 21%, Age 45 – 54 – 18%, Age 55 – 64 – 12%, Age 65+ – 8%

When referring to disabilities as defined by the Equalities Act, 91% of those responding considered that they did not have a disability as set out in the Equalities Act,  6% of our team considered themselves to have a disability as defined by the Act and 3% declined to answer the question.
