Review of the UK Economy
6th January 2020
Whatever the outcome of the Brexit negotiations, economists are predicting that the UK will face tough economic conditions throughout 2020. The International Monetary Fund is predicting a global economic slowdown and 84 senior economists inverviewed by the Financial Times in December 2019 predicted a year of slow or, more likely, negative UK growth.
However the picture isn’t all doom and gloom, UK employment is at record breaking levels and leaving the EU presents the UK with great opportunities. But what does this mean for you and your business?
We invite you to join us and our guest speaker Rob Elder from the Bank of England on 27 February 2020 for his summary of the Bank’s latest assessment of the UK economy
