Probate Accountants

ABG's specialist probate accountants and tax advisers provide expert advice to trusts and executors in order to deal with all aspects of administering an Estate following a death.

Our probate team will be able to:

Make an application to the Probate Registry for the Grant of Representation, receive and administer this.

Assist in the review of all paperwork and place statutory notices in local newspapers

Obtain estate values, assets and liablities and calculate the Inheritance Tax due.

Provide advice on searching for lost assets, preparing oaths.

Ensure that all known debts and liabilities of the Estate are paid

Finalise the estate's tax and arrange to distribute the residuary of the Estate.

Securing probate can involve a number of accounting services.  For example we may be required to complete the books and records for the deceased's partnership or sole trader activities.  We may also be required in some circumstances to liaise with HMRC in connection with income tax challenges from previous years.

Each case is individual and no two Estates are the same. At ABG our team will always treat it as such with empathy, care and compassion.

If you wish to speak to a member of our specialist probate team please contact us on 020 7330 0000 or complete our contact form and we will revert back to you within 24 hours
